Meredith Presenting at Virginia Society of Association Executives

Meredith will be presenting at the annual Virginia Society of Association Executives Conference on May 6, 2019 during two different breakout sessions. VSAE’s vision aims to help their members and corresponding associations become the best. This year their annual conference will focus on that goal by highlighting four main content pillars: Data Management, Marketing, Leadership, and Networking.

Monday AM Session

FIND YOUR FAN FACTOR: STREAMLINE, ORGANIZE, and leverage your social media marketing

Would you like to utilize social media more effectively, but you are lacking the time and resources to do so? Already utilizing several social media channels and feeling overwhelmed trying to keep up? Good news — this session is for you! This session will NOT load you down with more to-do tasks and complicated technology tips. The purpose of this session to make your life easier! We will discuss how to incorporate social media into your communications plan in a way that makes sense for your association. Learn how to create content once and re-purpose and re-use easily across multiple channels. Develop a process to streamline and organize your social media presence. Whether you are just getting started or you are a seasoned social media guru, this session will provide tips to make your efforts more enjoyable and more effective.

After attending this session, participants will be able to:

• Systemize social media marketing content creation and publishing.
• Establish an effective communications committee to assist in social media marketing efforts.
• Write engaging social media posts that members share, comment, and like.

Reframe: The power of Vulnerability To Unlock Peak Performance

Is your team stuck in a rut and resistant to change? Would you like to be more creative, show more leadership, and accomplish more goals? Do you regularly dismiss or ignore your inner voice? You aren’t alone! In this poignant, bold, and vulnerable keynote, Meredith will use humor to share how a series of lightning bolt moments reframed her world-view from a victim to a survivor to a “thriver”. Learn how to recognize your own lightning bolt moments, listen to the insights, change your filter, and start taking massive action towards your goals. Stop waiting for others to deliver your dreams
on a silver platter. Become real, vulnerable, and embrace the power of the reframe!

After attending this session, participants will be able to:

• Embrace the power of being vulnerable.
• Recognize and listen for their lightning bolt moments of clarity and insight.
• Identify the filter used to interpret life’s events and determine if it is serving them and their objectives.
